TCM-1: AI-Monitored Periocular Wellness Platform
How Ceres Vapor Tech turns a 1,000-year-old TCM tradition into a measurable, session-tracked wellness platform.
Not a Concept. A Manufactured Platform.
Every TCM-1 unit is built from the same physical stack: a clear protective dome, a sensor module, and a main circuit board carrying the Edge AI Engine, the on-device processor that runs TCM-1's session-monitoring models. The vapour flow channel itself is precision-machined, not off-the-shelf.
This is the hardware foundation the AI layer is being built on top of, engineered by a manufacturing partner with 5+ years of medical device production experience.
Screen time is rising. Eye wellness is a growing concern.
Children and adults alike are spending more time on screens than ever before, and digital eye strain has become a widely-reported wellness concern. Non-pharmaceutical options remain limited outside of glasses and contact lenses.
AI-monitored TCM herbal vapour wellness: a 1,000-year tradition, measured for the first time.
TCM-1 applies traditional Chinese medicine fumigation practice (熏蒸) in a precisely controlled, AI-monitored format. Manufactured by our partner DMT under an ISO 13485:2016 quality management system, with an AI data pipeline being developed under an IEC 62304 software lifecycle (in development, not yet independently audited), applied to TCM herbal vapour sessions to capture session data, help ensure consistency, and build a measurable record of what traditional practice has previously been unable to track.
AI-Monitored TCM: Measurable for the First Time
On-Device AI: Session Monitoring
In DevelopmentReal-time detection of TCM herbal vapour session parameters via on-device Edge AI. Monitors vapour density, temperature, and session consistency to help ensure repeatable delivery, something traditional fumigation (熏蒸) has never been able to guarantee.
Cloud AI: Session Data Analytics
PlannedPopulation-level session data aggregation via Cloud ML infrastructure. Aims to identify which session parameters and herbal protocols correlate with self-reported wellness outcomes across the user base, building a data asset traditional TCM has never had.
Clinic Dashboard: Session Monitoring
In DevelopmentGives TCM practitioners access to individual client session history, session consistency data, and wellness self-report tracking. Designed to make TCM wellness sessions monitorable and repeatable in a way that traditional fumigation practice cannot achieve on its own.
