This website (ceresvapor.com) is operated by Ceres Vapor Tech Sdn. Bhd. (Registration No. 202301012680 / 1506602-M), a company incorporated in Malaysia. This policy explains how we handle personal data collected through this website and applies to visitors and to anyone who submits the contact form.

What we collect

We only collect personal data that you choose to submit to us. Currently, the only data-collection point on this website is the contact form, which may ask for:

• Inquiry type (investor, partner, engineer, research, or acquirer)

In addition to what you submit directly, this website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate visitor traffic and site usage, described in the Cookies & Analytics section below.

Cookies & Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google, to help us understand how visitors use this site, such as which pages are viewed and how visitors arrived here. GA4 sets cookies and similar identifiers in your browser to distinguish visitors and sessions. We do not use this data to identify you personally, and we do not combine it with the information you submit through the contact form. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's own privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using your browser's cookie settings, a browser extension such as Google's Analytics opt-out add-on, or by using private/incognito browsing. We do not use cookies for advertising or retargeting on this website.

Beyond GA4, we do not passively collect browsing data other than what your browser or our hosting provider generates automatically as part of normal web traffic (such as server access logs).

How we use it

We use the information you submit solely to respond to your inquiry, evaluate potential partnerships, investment, employment, or research interest, and to keep an internal record of the correspondence. How the contact form works

Contact form submissions are processed by Web3Forms, a third-party form-delivery service, which relays your submission to our email inbox. We do not control Web3Forms' own infrastructure; please refer to Web3Forms' privacy policy for details on how they handle data in transit. We do not share the contents of your submission with any other third party.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your information may be shared internally within Ceres Vapor Tech Sdn. Bhd. and, where relevant to your inquiry, with our manufacturing partner DMT, solely for the purpose of responding to you.

Data retention

We retain submitted information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry and maintain a record of business correspondence, or as required by applicable law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

As a Malaysia-incorporated company, we handle personal data with reference to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or limitation on our use of your personal data by contacting us at the email address below. Where our users are located outside Malaysia, we aim to apply data-minimisation and purpose-limitation principles consistent with internationally recognised frameworks such as the GDPR, though this website does not currently make any formal certification of GDPR or HIPAA compliance.

Children's privacy

This website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you submit, but no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
